Silence
I have something to say to Fate,
innately impossible to understand,
without looking it straight in the eye.
An ancient silence that might
be a voice from the future. But wait —
in silence, who will have his say.
Because the stars have told me lies,
I've drowned in a sea of doubts.
I have surrendered my night to malaise.
Like a homeland, my voice is wrapped away.
I can foresee a spirit in its embers and
what shall be is what has gone by.

Un silence séculaire

une voix à venir ?
qui parle donc dans son silence ?
Depuis que les astres m'ont menti
je me suis noyé dans une mer
de soupçons
je finis par livrer
ma nuit au chagrin
Une voix qui s'est éparpillée
comme la patrie
dans son brasier
j'ai prédit l âme à venir
